The history of the Civil Rights Movement and free admission to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute were part of Community Day held in downtown on Saturday, September 29 at Kelly Ingram Park. Diversity and inclusion were celebrated for youth and volunteer organizations and activities included live music, food trucks, spoken word, free tours, moonwalks, voter registration and health fair.
