There are a lot of people, mostly Democrats, that are calling for Donald Trump to be impeached even before he can serve as President for six months.

There is no evidence that has been presented to Congress that states Trump can be indicted. My guess would be that it would take another six months to determine what the evidence is.

We still live in America where the Constitution of the United States clearly states that you are innocent until proven guilty; plus, the fact that an indictment does not mean that you are guilty, it just means that they have enough evidence to prove their case.

What we can say is that almost every day another shoe falls that indicates the Trump administration will have serious legal problems in the very near future.

The latest shoe to fall relates to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. On Monday, the Associated Press reported that Michael Flynn will invoke his Fifth Amendment rights and not comply with a Senate Intelligence Committee subpoena.

According to The Hill, Flynn was subpoenaed in the committee’s investigation into Russian meddling and potential ties between President Trump’s campaign and Russian officials. Flynn previously offered to testify before the Senate and House Intelligence committees in exchange for immunity, but neither committee accepted the offer.

Flynn was fired from his post as national security adviser in February for misleading Vice President Mike Pence and other White House officials about conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Russian officials reportedly bragged during the 2016 campaign that they could use Flynn to influence Trump in the White House.

Flynn has come under scrutiny for lobbying work he did on behalf of the Turkish government during last year’s election. He reportedly delayed an Islamic State attack plan that Turkey opposed during Trump’s transition.

We all remember Flynn. He is the one who made the statement about Hillary Clinton that if you refuse to testify you must have something to hide. I am sure Flynn is aware of the fact that one should be careful what they say because it could come back and haunt them.

Can the Democrats capitalize on Trump’s serious multiplicity of problems? The answer to this question is yes.

Here is a laundry list of steps that they can take:

  • Step 1 is to look at all the states that Trump carried that have been tradition-ally democratic strongholds made up of predominantly white, working class males.
  • Step 2, ask the question where are all the jobs?
  • Step 3 is to then make the case that the only person getting rich is Donald Trump, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, and his daughter Ivanka Trump.

Remind these people at Town Hall meetings that all of Trump’s property has increased five-fold in revenue since he has been president.

It is important that you keep reminding these people over and over again that Trump continues lying every time he is awake. The only time he is not lying is when he is asleep, during which time he is dreaming about lying.

In these Town Hall meetings, they have to keep pressing the fact that Trump is the first and only President in the USA that has not released his tax returns. And unquestionably, there is a reason for this.

It is important to keep the public informed, which is what Trump has not done. It is more important as a Democrat that you remind the American people, convincingly, what you will do.

The Democrats need to stay on message and they all need to be humming the same tune.

Trump is still in big trouble. The activities of an unnamed current White House official are now under investigation in the FBI’s probe of President Trump’s ties to Russia, two U.S. officials confirmed to NBC News. The potentially damaging development was first reported by The Washington Post, which said the official was a person of interest in the investigation.

A separate bombshell report from the New York Times, published shortly after Trump departed for his first overseas trip, quotes the president telling Russian officials in a meeting earlier this month that FBI Director James Comey was “a real nut job” and his dismissal relieved “great pressure.”
