SUMMER JAM 2017 – City Council District 9 announced the official concert lineup for Summer Jam 2017 on Saturday, 5-9 p.m. Regionally-renowned band Top Secret will serve as the headliner for the music event. Additional performing artists include local favorite Netra and producer John Boy & Surround Sound – whose works include hits for popular national recording artists including Young Jeezy, Young Joc, Ying Yang Twins, Soulja Boy, Too Short and more. Summer Jam 2017 will also feature street vendors, an “Open House” highlighting downtown Ensley businesses and grand prize giveaways. Bayou-born soul sensation, Durand Jones got his start in the church, after being forced to sing in the choir of his rural hometown Hillaryville, Louisiana because his Grandmother thought he sang too much at home. When his music career took him to Bloomington, Indiana, he was selected to join the legendary Indiana University Soul Revue, and it was through his involvement that he met writer/producer duo Aaron Frazer and Blake Rhein. The three began writing original soul music, recording themselves straight to tape in the basements of Bloomington – and their debut album is now available on our record label, Colemine Records.

This group is not a class; it is a casual but informative venue for amateur to expert level photographers to come together to share their ideas, tips, advice, tricks, and knowledge with each other. Greg worked as an animator on such shows as the Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show and the New Flintstones.
