Riding the crest of loyal community and fan support, Wenonah High School’s softball and baseball programs have received a $2,500 Power To Play grant from Alabama Power Company.
On January 16th, Alabama Power’s Foster Ware, North Area Manager, and Rasheeda Burton, Business Office Manager, visited the school to present the award. Pictured are Ware and Burton with Wenonah High School’s Athletic Director Henry Pope and defending state champion girls’ basketball coach Emmanuel Bell. The school’s principal is Regina Carr-Hope.
